The funny side of sadness

   "I still remember the day I learned my lesson about sneaking into my dad's wine collection. I was 13, and I thought I was being super sneaky, sipping wine from my dad's bottle when he wasn't looking. But, as it turns out, my dad has a sixth sense for detecting wine thieves. He caught me red-handed (or red-lipped, I should say), and... well, let's just say he wasn't happy. In a moment of parental frustration, he actually bit me on the arm! I know, I know, it sounds crazy, but it's true! As a kid, I was shocked and hurt (both physically and emotionally). But looking back, I can see the humor in the situation. I mean, who gets bitten by their dad for sneaking wine? It's a funny story that my family still laughs about to this day. The next morning, we were all released with a warning (and a killer hangover). As we stumbled out of the police station, we couldn't help but laugh about the absurdity of it all.
