The funny side of sadness

My girlfriend dropped a bombshell: "I'm pregnant." My reaction? A mix of emotions.               I laughed uncontrollably, thinking it was a joke. "What?! Are you serious?!" well, Reality hit, and anxiety took over. "How will we afford it? Will we be good parents?" TBH, I felt a pang of sadness, thinking about the lifestyle changes ahead.
