The Bite That Taught Me a Lesson: A Funny (But Painful) Childhood Memory.


   "I still remember the day I learned my lesson about sneaking into my dad's wine collection. I was 13, and I thought I was being super sneaky, sipping wine from my dad's bottle when he wasn't looking.

But, as it turns out, my dad has a sixth sense for detecting wine thieves. He caught me red-handed (or red-lipped, I should say), and... well, let's just say he wasn't happy.

In a moment of parental frustration, he actually bit me on the arm! I know, I know, it sounds crazy, but it's true!

As a kid, I was shocked and hurt (both physically and emotionally). But looking back, I can see the humor in the situation.

I mean, who gets bitten by their dad for sneaking wine? It's a funny story that my family still laughs about to this day.

My girlfriend dropped a bombshell: "I'm pregnant." My reaction? A mix of emotions.               I laughed uncontrollably, thinking it was a joke. "What?! The Night My Friend Took a 2-Story Tumble

       I'm still laughing about the night my friend face-planted off a 2nd-story balcony. I mean, it was a real "I-can't-believe-that-just-happened" moment. We were hanging out at a friend's apartment, having a few drinks and enjoying each other's company. My friend, who we'll call "Goru," had had one too many and was stumbling around like a zombie.
