"I'm pregnant."

My girlfriend dropped a bombshell: "I'm pregnant." My reaction? A mix of emotions.

              I laughed uncontrollably, thinking it was a joke. "What?! Are you serious?!"

well, Reality hit, and anxiety took over. "How will we afford it? Will we be good parents?"

TBH, I felt a pang of sadness, thinking about the lifestyle changes ahead. Our carefree days were numbered.

LOL, then I looked at my girlfriend and said, "Well, I guess this means I'll finally get to use the 'I'm tired' excuse for everything!"


She just rolled her eyes and said, "You're going to be a great dad..."

The Night My Friend Took a 2-Story Tumble

       I'm still laughing about the night my friend face-planted off a 2nd-story balcony. I mean, it was a real "I-can't-believe-that-just-happened" moment. We were hanging out at a friend's apartment, having a few drinks and enjoying each other's company. My friend, who we'll call "Goru," had had one too many and was stumbling around like a zombie.
