The Night My Friend Took a 2-Story Tumble

       I'm still laughing about the night my friend face-planted off a 2nd-story balcony. I mean, it was a real "I-can't-believe-that-just-happened" moment.

We were hanging out at a friend's apartment, having a few drinks and enjoying each other's company. My friend, who we'll call "Goru," had had one too many and was stumbling around like a zombie.

The next thing I knew, Goru was tumbling over the balcony railing like a drunk superhero. I swear, it was like something out of a movie.

I was laughing so hard I cried, and Goru... well, Goru was just laughing. Like, actually laughing. I'm talking tears-streaming-down-the-face, belly-laughing, can't-catch-your-breath laughing.

Of course, once we realized Goru was actually hurt, we rushed them to the hospital. But let's be real, that was some funny stuff.

Moral of the story: don't drink too much, and always keep a safe distance from balconies. Unless you want to provide entertainment for your friends, that is."

"I'm pregnant."

My girlfriend dropped a bombshell: "I'm pregnant." My reaction? A mix of emotions.               I laughed uncontrollably, thinking it was a joke. "What?! Are you serious?!" well, Reality hit, and anxiety took over. "How will we afford it? Will we be good parents?" TBH, I felt a pang of sadness, thinking about the lifestyle changes ahead.
